How hard is it to put a world record ..? Of course it's very hard. You need skill, talent, strong desire and determination to achieve something like that.
Now let me tell you about SERHIY NAZAROVYCH BUBKA or SERGY BUBKA , a Ukranian track and field athlete who broke his own world record in men's pole vault for the consecutive 35 times. He became the first man in pole vaulting history to clear 6.0 meters and 6.10 meters. Despite these world records Bubka won six consecutive IAAF (International Association of Athletes Federation) world championships and an Olympic gold medal.
Bubka's son SERGEI BUBKA is now leading a successful tennis career.
Though France's RENAUD LAVILLENUE cleared 6.16 metres on February 2014 beating the record of Bubka's 6.15 metres we can undoubtedly say that he has got mere advantage of modern equipments.
Obviosly we can conclude that it's Bubka's strong determination that made him reach such heights...
Yes, he is a true legend.
