The 1992 United State's men's Olympic basketball team is nicknamed the "DREAM TEAM" just because it included the greatest collection of basketball legends on the planet. It was the first American Olympic team to feature active NBA players.

The team's popularity boomed during the games. The world journals described the team as the greatest team ever assembled in any form of sports.
